Sunday Brunch

Many thanks to Phil for his brunch invitation last Sunday. The mojitos were refreshing and perfectly sweetened. Amber's Popovers were moist and delicious. Beth's Cinnamon Rolls were a taste of heaven. And The Flamenco Eggs were unique and savory. Or were they Flamingo Eggs? They did look a tad pink...
Brunch was a spectacular culinary adventure. It was also not unlike a dining experience at The Ajax Cafe. Pictures below in no particular order.

Yeh, that's the funny thing about food. I always get so interested in eating it that I forget to photograph it!
Phil will have to tell you exactly what goes into Flamenco Eggs. Bacon, peppers, onions, lots of paprika all cooked up good in a big skillet. Then he put the pepper mixture into individual serving dishes, cracked a couple eggs on top of each one, and put them in the oven till the eggs were cooked the way he wanted. It's Spanish. It was really good. I'll see if I can get the recipe.
Flamingo Eggs are the eggs of the pink bird. I'm sure they're just as good as Flamenco Eggs, but I've never had one so I can't say for sure.
looked like a fun time! nice
